As many of you know, earlier this school year, 2012, I challenged my 6th grade class to finish their Level 2 English books in one semester rather than one year. They took on the challenge and have nearly completed the book!
I wanted to give them more than just a pat on the back for all their hard work, and the Level 3 books for next semester is the perfect gift!
However, I needed help…..and so many of you were there to do just that!
With the money you’ve all donated I can now purchase not only the 21 English World Level 3 books that the class will need, but also a new chalkboard and 2 new world maps for the school! How awesome are you all!?

Later this week we are going to have an English lesson about thank-you cards and why it’s a good thing in life. As a thank you for everyone who donated, you’ll be one or more of these very fancy, heart-and-hand-made cards (via snail mail) with a group photo of all our smiling faces!
